Adopted, wife, 2 adopted kids, travel bug, coffee junkie, loves the color black
I am an adventure family photographer serving Indianapolis and beyond. Our family is usually in the great outdoors finding our own adventure whether it’s with our camper, headed to the beach or out west to the mountains.
Usually by mid-day I’ve had more than the standard amount of coffee than any one human should be allowed. Funny thing is I don’t really like the taste of coffee so I’m probably mostly drinking peppermint mocha creamer and caffeine. But it makes me very happy, who can deny me that?
Photography to me is like a breath of fresh air. I feel most comfortable behind my camera. It’s truly a joy to me. Nothing makes me happier than running after kids and creating laughter in them. Allowing families to create a little bit of history in their story for themselves and future generations in pictures that will last them a lifetime.
My husband, Arakai, and I have been married 19 years. We have two kids, Ayden who is 15 and Ansley who is 12.
My husband is a helicopter pilot with St. Vincent StatFlight. He is an adrenaline junkie, loves to do anything outdoors especially when we can spend that time as a family.
I was adopted as well as both of our kids. We always knew we wanted to adopt and when we found out that I could not have kids it was the natural path for our family.
Ayden is already taller than me, he is a natural athlete. He runs track now. Most of his days he spends with friends at the lake fishing or at High school football games. He has a heart of gold, people speak about his kind soul and you feel at peace when you are around him. He caught the aviation bug at 4 years old and has ambitions to follow his dad’s footsteps and become a pilot.
Ansley is our art loving, free spirit, spitfire perfect end of the puzzle piece of our family. Her ambitions in life change daily which makes her who she is. She loves her brother more than anyone else. Her favorite things are drawing, photography and spending as much time as she can with her family. She also loves to run and is starting track soon. She too has caught the aviation bug.
