Adopted, wife, 2 adopted kids, travel bug, coffee junkie, loves the color black
I’m an adventure senior/ family photographer serving Indianapolis and beyond. Our family spends much of our time outdoors, creating our own adventures—whether that’s traveling, heading to the beach, or exploring the mountains out west.
By mid-day, I’ve usually had more coffee than recommended, even though I don’t actually love the taste. It’s mostly peppermint mocha creamer and caffeine at this point—but it makes me happy, and I fully embrace it.
Photography feels like a breath of fresh air to me. I’m most at home behind the camera, capturing genuine connection, movement, and laughter. Creating images that allow seniors/ families to preserve their story—now and for generations to come—is what brings me the greatest joy.
My husband, Arakai, and I have been married for over 21 years and are the proud parents of two incredible children, Ayden and Ansley.
Arakai is a helicopter pilot with St. Vincent StatFlight. He thrives on adventure and has a deep love for the outdoors, especially when those experiences are shared as a family. His passion for aviation and adrenaline-filled pursuits has shaped much of our family’s adventurous spirit.
Adoption has always been a meaningful part of our story. I was adopted, as were both of our children. When we learned that having biological children would not be possible for us, adoption felt like a natural and deeply fulfilling path—one that was always meant to be.
Ayden, now taller than me, is a natural athlete with a calm and kind presence that puts people at ease. He runs track and spends most of his free time with friends—often at the lake fishing or attending high school football games. From a young age, he developed a love for aviation and hopes to one day follow in his father’s footsteps and become a pilot.
Ansley is our creative, free-spirited, and spirited soul—the perfect final piece of our family puzzle. Her interests evolve daily, which is part of what makes her so uniquely herself. She has a deep love for her brother and enjoys drawing, photography, science, and spending time with her family. Like Ayden, she also runs track and brings energy, creativity, and joy into everything she does.
